Glazed Turnips

- 2 toung turnip peeled then havved, quartered or cut in finger size sticks (very small pice) shopping list
- 4 TBSP butter shopping list
- salt shopping list
- freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 Tbsp honey shopping list
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup water shopping list
- chopped fresh basil to garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Places turnips in a large pot add butter, salt and pepper to taste, honey and water
- place a lid on slightly askew
- bring liquid to a boil over medium heat and then yurn down to low . cook for about 20mins or until the water has reduced to a thick shing glaze in the bottom of the pot and the turnips are tender
- place the turnips in a serving dish and spoon the glaze over garnish with a little fresh basil and serve
