How to make it

  • Places turnips in a large pot add butter, salt and pepper to taste, honey and water
  • place a lid on slightly askew
  • bring liquid to a boil over medium heat and then yurn down to low . cook for about 20mins or until the water has reduced to a thick shing glaze in the bottom of the pot and the turnips are tender
  • place the turnips in a serving dish and spoon the glaze over garnish with a little fresh basil and serve
