Ingredients
  • 2 tbs 'top leave" tea leaves (or any tea)
  • 500 ml water
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cardomom
  • 2 inches cinnamon stick
  • 4 inches of ginger
  • 1 tsp whole black peppercons
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Directions
  1. In a large pot, pour the water and add tea leaves.
  2. Add cloves, cinnamon stick and cardomom.
  3. Peel the ginger and using a pestel, bruise the ginger so that it is a little flat.
  4. Add ginger into the the water and bring to boil.
  5. While the tea is steeping or boiling, pound the black peppercons coarsely.
  6. Once boiled, remove the tea from the flame.
  7. Add the condensed milk and salt and taste. If you like it sweeter add more condensed milk.
  8. Drop the pounded peppercons and stir well.
  9. Using a muslin strainer or cloth strainer, strain the tea and serve hot.
