How to make it

  • In a large pot, pour the water and add tea leaves.
  • Add cloves, cinnamon stick and cardomom.
  • Peel the ginger and using a pestel, bruise the ginger so that it is a little flat.
  • Add ginger into the the water and bring to boil.
  • While the tea is steeping or boiling, pound the black peppercons coarsely.
  • Once boiled, remove the tea from the flame.
  • Add the condensed milk and salt and taste. If you like it sweeter add more condensed milk.
  • Drop the pounded peppercons and stir well.
  • Using a muslin strainer or cloth strainer, strain the tea and serve hot.
