How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350, grease a cookie sheet.
  • Mix cornstarch slurry, butter, extracts, and agave nectar in a bowl. Whisk until well blended.
  • Add ground nuts, mixing by hand until well blended and creamy.
  • Stir in cranberries.
  • Bake for 5 minutes, then remove and press with a fork to flatten.
  • Return to even and bake another 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

    I took it for granted that most people would know to drop spoonfuls of dough onto the sheets, but yes - that is correct

    There's step missing towards the end -- something to the effect of "drop by teasps onto the baking sheet".

    A really interesting recipe, but I made so many substitutions -- it's bitter day in Montreal and I'm not going out for anything! -- that I couldn;t say im reviewing the actual recipe.

    But it's an inventive recipe, and i will * definitely* revisit it.

    NOTE to myself: more cranberries. Use the longer baking time for crispier cooky.
