Dry Masala Prawns

- 400g large prawn, deviened shopping list
- 4 tbsp plain yoghurt shopping list
- 1 red chilli, halved and seeds removed shopping list
- 1 tbsp water shopping list
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds shopping list
- 1/2 tsp fenugreek shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cumin shopping list
- half an onion, sliced shopping list
- 2 sprigs curry leaves shopping list
- For ground spice: shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic paste shopping list
- 1 tsp ginger paste shopping list
- half an onion, sliced shopping list
- 3 tbsp fish curry powder shopping list
- 2 tbsp chilli paste shopping list
- 1 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- For seasoning: shopping list
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock granules shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Heat a pan and fry mustard seeds, fenugreek, cumin seeds, sliced onion and curry leaves until fragrant.
- Add combined ground spice ingredients.
- Add in red chilli and prawns. Stir well to mix
- Then add yoghurt.
- Cover and cook till almost dry and prawns are fully cooked.
- Lastly, add in seasoning and adjust to taste. Serve immediately.
