SPICY CHICKEN STARTERS Recipe
These may be used for a Main Meall or for picnics or starters. good served with Celery sticks, jacket potatoes or boiled noodles as a main course

Ingredients
  • 2.1/2 lb. chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Sof brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Corn Oil
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoon Dry sherry
  • 6 Tablespoon Tomatoketchup
  • chopped fresh parsley to garnish

Directions
  1. Arrange Chicken Wings in single layer in Shallow Baking dish
  2. Mix together soy Sauce, sugar, oil, mustard and sherry in a saucepan.
  3. Heat gently until sugar dissolves
  4. Pour sauce over Chicken Wings, Cover and Marinate for 1 hour
  5. Heat oven to Gas mark 4
  6. Cook Chicken - in marinade - in oven for 60 minutes, basing occcasionally whilst cooking.
  7. Arrange chicken wings on a serving dish after draining off fat.
  8. Mix Tomato ketchup with 4 tablespoon of remaining mainade
  9. Pour into a small bowl.
  10. Sprinkle chicken with sauce and chopped parsley.
  11. If you so wish, the chicken may be left in the marinade for longer, or overnight, if more convenient. If you do this, use a glass dish.
