classic tuna casserole....an oldie but a goodie!

Ingredients
  • 2 cans of tuna
  • 8 ounces of elbow mac
  • 2 - 15 ounce cans of sweet peas
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground thyme
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup low fat cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. Cook elbow mac and set aside
  2. Drain tuna and separate w/ fork to shred slightly
  3. Cook in sktillet/saucepan : soup, milk, cheese, spices,
  4. Add tuna and sweet peas
  5. Add elbow mac n stir
  6. Remove from heat and pour into casserole dish
  7. Sprinkle with additional cheese on top
  8. Cook uncovered at 375 degrees for 25 minutes
