How to make it

  • Boil the peeled potatoes and onion together until well cooked.
  • Purée the potatoes and onion with a handheld blender . Bring back to the heat, once the broth starts to boil, add garlic slices and chouriço for 10 minutes.
  • Add the julienned collard greens and finish cooking without covering.
  • Serve hot and accompanied by broa, Portuguese cormeal bread.
