White Chocolate Walnut Decadent Saltines Recipe
WHITE CHOCOLATE WALNUT DECADENT SALTINES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Thomason Estate in Wylie, Texas in 1992.

Ingredients
  • 24 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions
  1. Lay saltines side by side on a cookie sheet.
  2. Heat brown sugar and butter until dissolved then pour over saltines.
  3. Bake at 450 for 5 minutes then cover with chocolate chips and spread.
  4. Sprinkle with almonds and allow to sit at room temperature for at least an hour.
