How to make it

  • pre-heat oven 300 degrees
  • butter & flour 1 long loaf pan or 2 regular loaf pans
  • Cream butter and sugar, add Hersheys
  • Add eggs one at a time
  • Add vanilla
  • Combine flour and salt
  • Combine buttermilk & baking soda
  • Add milk & flour alternately
  • Fold in pecans
  • Spoon into loaf pans
  • bake at 300 for 90 minutes
  • Check regular loaf pans after 1 hour
  • Cake is done when pick comes out clean
