Large Batch Oriental Halibut Salad

- 2 pounds halibut shopping list
- peanut sauce Salad Dressing: shopping list
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter shopping list
- 2 cups Oriental sweet red pepper sauce shopping list
- 1/3 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 2 teaspoons fresh garlic minced shopping list
- 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar shopping list
- juice from 4 fresh limes shopping list
- juice from 2 fresh lemons shopping list
- 1/3 cup sesame oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup sesame oil shopping list
- 1 medium sweet onion diced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes shopping list
- Salad: shopping list
- 5 heads romaine lettuce chopped shopping list
- 3 bunches green onions sliced thin shopping list
- 4 fresh jalapeno peppers seeded and sliced thin shopping list
- 2 carrots peeled and grated shopping list
- 1 package broccoli slaw shopping list
- 2 cups thinly sliced cabbage shopping list
- 2 bunches fresh cilantro chopped shopping list
- 1 cup bean sprouts shopping list
- 1 cucumber sliced thin lengthwise shopping list
- 1 cup crab meat shopping list
- 3 cups medium cooked peeled shrimp shopping list
How to make it
- Bake halibut at 350 for 15 minutes.
- Remove skin, bones and fat from the halibut.
- Break into small pieces and set aside.
- Fry the onion until golden brown in the sesame oil for about five minutes.
- Add red pepper sauce, peanut butter, soy sauce and garlic to the onion and boil on medium for 10 minutes.
- Add vinegar, lime juice, lemon juice and pepper flakes then add sesame oil and boil for five more minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Wash and drain all salad ingredients then mix them together.
- Lightly toss halibut in with the salad and serve topped with the peanut butter salad dressing.
- Sprinkle with cashew pieces.
