Grilled Skewered Chicken Liver Recipe

Ingredients
  • half kilo of chicken liver, cleaned
  • 1 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice (or calamansi or philippine lemon juice)
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • for dip, mix all ingredients below:
  • 1 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 whole onion, diced
  • 2 small siling labuyo (green or red philippine chili)
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

Directions
  1. marinate the chicken liver in soy sauce, lemon juice and pepper for about an hour and a half
  2. grill for 15 minutes or until chicken liver is cooked (depending on your preference)
  3. serve along with the dip
  4. goes well with ice cold beer
