THIS IS NICE HOLIDAY BREAD FOR BREAKFAST OR BRUNCH .

Ingredients
  • 16 OUNCE PACKAGE OF HOT ROLL MIX IN A BOX.
  • 1-1/2 POUNDS PORK SAUSAGE......... NOT LINKS
  • 1 ONION CHOPPED
  • 1/2 CUP GRATED OR SHREDDED CHEESE YOUR CHOICE, COLBY,CHEDDAR OR SWISS.
  • 2 EGGS BEATEN
  • 1/2 TEASPOON HOT PEPPER SAUCE
  • 2 TABLESPOON DRIED PARSLEY
  • 1/4 CUP GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
  • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
  • OPTIONAL; BUTTER

Directions
  1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES F.
  2. PREPARE HOT ROLL MIX DOUGH ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS.
  3. LET RISE FOR 45 MINUTES; PUNCH DOWN AND SET ASIDE.
  4. BROWN TOGETHER SAUSAGE AND ONION; DRAIN
  5. COMBINE SAUSAGE MIXTURE WITH REMAINING INGREDIENTS EXCEPT BUTTER.......LET COOL.
  6. ROLL OUT DOUGH ON A FLOURED SURFACE INTO A 12X 8 RECTANGLE; PLACE ON A LIGHTLY GREASED BAKING SHEET.
  7. SPOON SAUSAGE MIXTURE IN CENTER OF DOUGH.
  8. FOLD LONG EDGES OF RECTANGLE OVER EACH OTHER TOWARD CENTER OF DOUGH TO COVER THE SAUSAGE MIXTURE, CRIMPING TOGETHER THE EDGES AND ENDS.
  9. BAKE AT 400 DEGREES F. FOR 20 MINUTES, OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
  10. BUTTER MAY BE SPREAD OVER TOP IN LAST FEW MINUTES OF BAKING, IF DESIRED.....SERVES 6 TO 8
