Sugared Brioche w Berries and Creme Fraiche

- 2 punnets fresh strawberries raspberries or blueberries shopping list
- 2 Tbsp icing sugar shopping list
- juice of a small lemon shopping list
- 50g butter shopping list
- 1 small brioche loaf, cut into 6 x 1.5cm slices shopping list
- 50g caster sugar shopping list
- 250ml creme fraiche shopping list
- Extra icing sugar, to dust shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
- Put berries in a large mixing bowl and dust with icing sugar and add the lemon juice. Toss gently and set aside for 15 minutes.
- Butter 1 side of the brioche slices and sprinkle with caster sugar. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until the bread is lightly golden and crisp.
- Spoon over the crème fraîche.
- Top with the berries.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve immediately.
