Ingredients

2 eggs

2 cups all-purpose or whole-wheat flour

1/2 cup butter melted

1-3/4 cup milk

1 tablespoon brown sugar

4 teaspoons baking powder

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 strips bacon cooked crisp and crumbled

Directions

Heat waffle iron.

In medium mixing bowl beat eggs until fluffy.

Add remaining ingredients and beat just until smooth.

Stir in cheese and bacon and stir gently.

Pour batter from cup or pitcher onto center of hot waffle iron.

Bake 5 minutes or until steaming stops then remove waffle carefully.
