- 1 c. millet shopping list
- raisins, soaked overnight shopping list
- dried apricots, thinly sliced shopping list
- honey or maple syrup to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp. butter (opt) shopping list
How to make it
- The flavor of millet is enhanced by lightly roasting the grains in a dry pan before cooking; stir constantly for approximately three minutes or until a mild, nutty aroma is detected.
- Cook millet as you would rice, using 3 cups of water to 1 cup of millet for 30 minutes. Check for doneness after the 30 minutes. Don’t peek! Make the millet the night before for a quick and nutritious breakfast.
