How to make it

  • The flavor of millet is enhanced by lightly roasting the grains in a dry pan before cooking; stir constantly for approximately three minutes or until a mild, nutty aroma is detected.
  • Cook millet like rice, using 1 cup millet to 3 cups water or stock, for 30 minutes. Boil at first, then reduce to simmer and don’t peek.
  • Blend cashews and water.
  • Pour over other ingredients.
  • Mix well and form into patties.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 325F.
  • Good in sandwiches or as veggie burgers in buns.
