Wastels Yfarced - Toasted Stuffed Brown Rolls

- 3 whole Whole Wheat rolls, halved, remove crumb shopping list
- 2 ounces butter shopping list
- 4 ounces mushrooms, rough chopped shopping list
- 4 ounces spinach, cooked, rough chopped shopping list
- 2 ounces raisins shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- cinnamon to taste shopping list
- cloves to taste shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
How to make it
- Put the halved rolls in a moderately hot oven for approximately 10 minutes, or until they are lightly brown and crisp.
- Melt the butter in a pan and cook the mushrooms for a couple of minutes.
- Add spinach and raisins to the pan, and continue to cook gently for several minutes, or until the butter has been almost absorbed by the veggies.
- Season to taste with the salt, pepper and spices.
- Beat the egg in a bowl, add to the veggie mixture and cook it gently just long enough for the egg to slightly bind the other ingredients.
- Pile the filling onto the halved rolls and serve at once.
