Garden Peas in Cream

Nice vegetable dish,don't let the lettuce scare you off, I beleive that you will find it' good in this dish.
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoon butter shopping list
- 1/2 Cup water shopping list
- 1&1/2 Cup frozen peas shopping list
- 2 Cups Finely shredded lettuce shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons finely diced onion shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped parsley shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons finely chopped celery,(de-string) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 1/3 Cup Half and Half,(or) canned milk( or )any light cream. shopping list
How to make it
- Add the onion and celery to the melted Butter and saute for a short while,Add water,Bring to boiling.
- Add Remaining ingredients except cream.
- Season with 1/4 teaspoon sea salt and a dash of fresh ground black Pepper.
- Cover and simmer till peas are tender.
- Don't drain,
- Add Cream.
