Lemon Curd Dated 1922

- 3 eggs beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Beat eggs until light.
- Melt butter in a double boiler then add sugar and eggs and combine thoroughly.
- Cook over hot water stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
- Add lemon juice and continue cooking stirring constantly 3 minutes longer.
- Chill then store in jar in refrigerator.
