CORN SYRUP GLAZED APPLES This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Crawford Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 8 medium apples, washed and cored (do not peel)
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup

Directions
  1. Cover and cook very slowly for 1 hour or until tender.
