Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place the 4 cups of water and tea bags on the stove.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce to a low boil and simmer 5 minutes.
  • Pour into the gallon container.
  • Add sweetener.
  • Mix well. I think this tastes better then adding sugar to cold drinks, but it could just be me.
  • Fill the container with cool water.
  • Store in the fridge until you desire a cup, pour over ice, or not.
  • Enjoy....

I'll try your way with the Splenda. I have not been able to adapt, but this is plain as day, 1/3 is as sweet as 1/5 c. sugar.

When I first tried the coolwhip in the green container, and labelled "free" (no calories?) The taste is sublime. It tastes like real whipped cream to me.

Delightful. You are so right - adding the sweetener to warm tea is key. It melds so beautifully - thanks so much! I love a delicious tea.....mmmm. ~ Luna
