Chocolate Coconut Pie Shell Recipe
This is delicious filled with ice cream or any of your other favorite pie fillings. My family loves it with chocolate almond ice cream filling! Try it your way and enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 (1-ounce)squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2/3 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons hot water
  • 1-1/2 cups flaked coconut
  • Vegetable cooking spray (PAM)

Directions
  1. Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler; bring water to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low; stir until chocolate melts..
  3. Combine powdered sugar and hot water; add to chocolate mixture, stirring well.
  4. Stir in coconut.
  5. Spray a 9-inch pie-plate with vegetable cooking spray; firmly press piecrust mixture onto bottom and sides of pie-plate.
  6. Cover and chill until firm.
  7. Yield: One 9-inch pie shell.
  8. NOTE: Crust may be filled with softened ice cream and frozen.
  9. Before serving, drizzle chocolate or caramel syrup over each slice.
  10. Enjoy!
