- 1 package (8 ounces) brown-and-serve sausage shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked instant rice shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne) shopping list
- 6 pieces of okra, sliced into coins shopping list
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup) shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup) shopping list
- 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained shopping list
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen cooked crayfish tails or shrimp, drained shopping list
How to make it
- Cut sausages diagonally into 1-inch slices. Cook as directed on package using deep 10-inch skillet; drain.
- Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat.
- Simmer uncovered 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
