This recipe first makes lemongrass infused tequila which I love in either a martini or with tonic for a light summer drink. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients
  • 750 ml bottle blanco tequila ( I use Margaritaville)
  • 2 stalks lemongrass
  • 1 large chunk of fresh ginger

Directions
  1. Peel leaves off lemongrass and cut off the ends.
  2. Chop remaining lemongrass and add to infusion jar
  3. Peel ginger root and put in an infusion jar whole
  4. Add tequila
  5. Let sit in a cool dark place for 2 weeks
  6. Test flavor after 2 weeks and strain tequila when you have a good lemongrass flavor.
  7. Serve in a martini with a splash of dry vermouth or over ice with tonic and enjoy your exotic Mexi-Thai cocktail.

Never tried anything like this but will this summer!
