Red Hot Pineapple salad

This isn't much of a recipe. My mother and her sisters never could give me a "real" recipe for this, but it is super easy to make. The words in quotes are what they told me, I tried to come up with actual numbers.
Ingredients
- "A big can" (15 oz?) of pineapple shopping list
- "Just enough" (8 oz?) of red hot candies shopping list
- "the smaller container" of Cool Whip shopping list
- "some" (1 cup) marshmallows shopping list
How to make it
- Place a "big can" of pinapple in a bowl and sprinkle with "just enough" red hot candies "to cover the top of them." Stir in the candies and wait for them to dissolve. Then drain.
- Fold in cool whip and marshmallows.
