Chicken Pickins A La King Dated 1936

- 1 cup diced left over chicken shopping list
- 1 onion chopped shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 4 hard boiled eggs sliced shopping list
- 1 stalk celery chopped shopping list
- butter or margarine shopping list
- 3 cups milk shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- paprika shopping list
- Hot toast shopping list
- Baked potatoes shopping list
How to make it
- Put butter in a frying pan over a very low flame and add celery and onion.
- Cook several minutes but do not let it brown.
- Blend flour with the milk and add to celery and onion mixture then stir well.
- Add chicken and seasonings then stir again and lastly add the sliced eggs.
- Serve at once on hot toast with baked potatoes.
