How to make it

  • Put butter in a frying pan over a very low flame and add celery and onion.
  • Cook several minutes but do not let it brown.
  • Blend flour with the milk and add to celery and onion mixture then stir well.
  • Add chicken and seasonings then stir again and lastly add the sliced eggs.
  • Serve at once on hot toast with baked potatoes.
