- 1/2 pint rice (uncooked) shopping list
- 1/2 pint milk shopping list
- 1/2 pint water shopping list
- 1/2 small onion chopped shopping list
- 1 egg beaten shopping list
- 4 tablespoons syrup shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/4 marjoram shopping list
- 1/2 pint raisins shopping list
- 1/2 cup ground calves’ liver shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fat or drippings shopping list
- Melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Cook rice in milk and water until soft but not mushy then drain and cool.
- Fry onion in drippings or fat until tender but not brown.
- Combine all ingredients then bake in a greased casserole in a moderate oven for 1 hour.
- Serve with melted butter.
