THIS IS ANOTHER OLD, OLD RECIPE FROM A FOREIGN COOKBOOK ..... FROM 1908 .....SO IT DOESNT HAVE AMTS FOR THE BROTH AND VEGGIES; SO USE YOUR JUDGEMENT FOR A SOUP. I ENTERED IT JUST LIKE IT WAS WRIITEN.

Ingredients
  • ALL KINDS OF VEGETABLES
  • HIGHLY SEASONED BEEF BROTH
  • 2 BOILED BEETS CHOPPED FINE
  • SOME CHOPPED HAM
  • 1/4 TEASPOON OF FENNEL SEED
  • 2 SPRIGS OF PARSLEY CHOPPED
  • 1 CUP OF HOT CREAM

Directions
  1. CHOP AND FRY ALL KINDS OF VEGETABLES UNTIL TENDER
  2. MAKE A HIGHLY- SEASONED BEEF BROTH; ADD THE FRIED VEGETABLES, BEETS AND HAM, FENNEL SEED, PARSLEY.
  3. LET BOIL WELL
  4. THEN ADD THE HOT CREAM AND SERVE AT ONCE
