Really Easy Shortbread Recipe

My mother made this for years. This is an easy shortbread cookie recipe I make at Christmas time...melts in your mouth

Sift the icing sugar
Cream the icing sugar and butter together until smooth
Gradually add the flour...a little at a time......mixing thoroughly after each addition
pat the mixture into a 13 x 9 pan and prick the mixture several times with a fork
bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until the edges are slightly brown.
let cool and cut into small squares
