Flaky Pie Crust Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  • Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender or 2 knives
  • Blend together 1/4 cup of this mixture with cold water.
  • Add to remaining flour mixture.
  • Mix with a fork lightly until dough holds together.
  • Shape into a pie pan.

    Thanks for this recipe, like you say it's already on here most likely, but I got this scale to measure things out and have been searching for the perfect pie recipe in the process.
