Flaky Pie Crust Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp. salt

3/4 cup shortening

1/2 cup cold water

Directions

Mix flour and salt in a bowl.

Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender or 2 knives

Blend together 1/4 cup of this mixture with cold water.

Add to remaining flour mixture.

Mix with a fork lightly until dough holds together.

Shape into a pie pan.
