How to make it

  • pre heat oven to 475
  • melt butter
  • combine hashbrowns, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream ,cheese and melted butter
  • mix till everything is well blended together
  • pour potato mixture into 9X13 pan and even out
  • add crunched up cornflakes to top (use as many as desired)
  • bake for 1-11/2 hrs or until a golden brown color

    Love these. I have a receipe very similar but we call them "funeral potatoes" at our house. If you ever go to a church luncheon after a funeral they will almost always be there. :)
