Stir-fried Chinese Malaysian Beanshoots With Salted Fish Recipe

I made this a few days ago since I had some salted fish in my freezer. It is one of my favourite foods back home. :)

Ingredients
  • About 200g Beanshoots/Beansprouts
  • 1-2 Tbsp diced Salted Fish (can also use 'ikan bilis', anchovies, mackarel) - fried in oil ahead
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 small Red Chilli (sliced)
  • 1 stalk Green Onion/Spring Onion/Scallion - cut into 5cm
  • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2-3 Tbsp Water

Directions
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, prefried fish and chilli. Fry til fragrant.
  2. Add beanshoots, green onion and oyster sauce. Stir.
  3. Add water and let it simmer until beanshoots become slightly translucent.
  4. Remove from heat and serve.
