Chicken Lasagna Supreme Vegetarian Recipe
A delicious vegetarian chicken lasagna my mother always made. The Fri-Chik can also be sustituted with real chicken for those who are not vegetarian but are looking for a good chicken lasagna

Ingredients
  • 8 oz. Lasagna noodles
  • 2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesean cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1/2 c, chopped onions
  • 2 cans (10 oz.) Worthington Fri-Chik, drained and diced
  • 2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese

Directions
  1. Cook noodles
  2. In a small bowl combine the mozzarella and parmesean cheese. Set aside.
  3. Saute in a large skillet the oil, mushrooms, and onions.
  4. Add Fri-Chik and simmer.
  5. In medium bowl, combine soup, milk, and cottage cheese.
  6. Add sauteed mixture and stir completely.
  7. Oil a 9x13 inch lasagna baking dish.
  8. Place a layer of noodles first.
  9. Cover with 1/3 of mushroom sauce mixture.
  10. Then 1/3 of cheese mixture.
  11. Repeat 2 times, ending with a heavy layer of grated cheese.
  12. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
  13. Freezes well.
