As mentioned above, use this recipe as a starter for expansion! Add mushrooms and sour cream for something like stroganoff. Use minced beef or beef cubes instead of ground for a different texture. Add vegetables, like peas and/or carrots, to stretch it and change both taste and appearance. Don't assume this recipe can only be made one way.
