How to make it

  • Cut veal into small pieces
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Beat egg with 2 tsp. water
  • Combine paarmesan cheese and bread crumbs
  • Dip veal in egg then in cheese and crumbs
  • Fry in hot oil until brown
  • Place in a 8 x 8 pan
  • Cook onion in butter until soft and add paste,water, salt and marjoram
  • Boil a few minutes,pour 1/3 over the veal
  • Top wiith mozzarella cheese whch has been sliced thin, then the rest of the sauce.
  • Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • May be prepared a day ahead and baked when ready to serve
  • Serves 4
