Goes great with a nice crisp salad and some crusty rolls.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. thin veal
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 1 minced onion
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 3 paste cans water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 1/2 lb mozzarella cheese

Directions
  1. Cut veal into small pieces
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  3. Beat egg with 2 tsp. water
  4. Combine paarmesan cheese and bread crumbs
  5. Dip veal in egg then in cheese and crumbs
  6. Fry in hot oil until brown
  7. Place in a 8 x 8 pan
  8. Cook onion in butter until soft and add paste,water, salt and marjoram
  9. Boil a few minutes,pour 1/3 over the veal
  10. Top wiith mozzarella cheese whch has been sliced thin, then the rest of the sauce.
  11. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
  12. May be prepared a day ahead and baked when ready to serve
  13. Serves 4
