Excellent "truffles" made for a picnic. Goat cheese balls with beige and black coatings mimic white and black truffles.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 lb fresh goat cheese, room temperature
  • Salt/Pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp fennel powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp poppy seeds

Directions
  1. Put cheese in bowl and mix with salt and pepper.
  2. Using a melon scoop, make cheese balls.
  3. Roll balls in fennel or poppy seeds.
