Sausage and Red Cabbage

- 6 ounces chicken apple sausage cut into 1/2” pieces shopping list
- 2 cups chopped granny smith apples shopping list
- 1 cup chopped red onions shopping list
- 10 ounce package sliced red cabbage shopping list
- 1 cup apple cider shopping list
- 1 cup dry red wine shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Heat large skillet over medium high heat then sauté 4 minutes and remove from pan.
- Add apple, onion and cabbage then cook 5 minutes stirring frequently.
- Add sausage, cider, wine, sugar and salt.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat then simmer 10 minutes.
