- 1 (8 oz) package wide egg noodles. shopping list
- 2 lbs lean ground beef. shopping list
- 2 small onions, chopped. shopping list
- 1 large green bell pepper, diced. shopping list
- 3 (10 oz) cans tomato paste. shopping list
- 1 large can whole kernel corn, drained, or a 10 oz bag frozen corn, thawed. shopping list
- 1 cup pitted black olives, sliced. shopping list
- 1 cup green olives, sliced. shopping list
- 16 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste. shopping list
How to make it
- Brown ground beef with chopped onion and bell pepper.
- Drain any fat.
- Add tomato paste, corn, salt, pepper, chili and garlic powders, & simmer for 15 minutes.
- While beef mixture is simmering, cook noodles until tender, and drain.
- Combine beef mixture and noodles and spread into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle with both olives and cheese and gently mix together.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Serve with warm garlic bread.
