Hearty one-dish casserole that goes great with a loaf of hot garlic bread.

Ingredients
  • 1 (8 oz) package wide egg noodles.
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef.
  • 2 small onions, chopped.
  • 1 large green bell pepper, diced.
  • 3 (10 oz) cans tomato paste.
  • 1 large can whole kernel corn, drained, or a 10 oz bag frozen corn, thawed.
  • 1 cup pitted black olives, sliced.
  • 1 cup green olives, sliced.
  • 16 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste.

Directions
  1. Brown ground beef with chopped onion and bell pepper.
  2. Drain any fat.
  3. Add tomato paste, corn, salt, pepper, chili and garlic powders, & simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. While beef mixture is simmering, cook noodles until tender, and drain.
  5. Combine beef mixture and noodles and spread into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle with both olives and cheese and gently mix together.
  7. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
  8. Serve with warm garlic bread.
