Pineapple Cheese Swirl Cake

- 1 large can crushed pineapple reserve juice shopping list
- 1 package butter flavor cake mix shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- 1/4 cup oil shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 12 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup dairy sour cream shopping list
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel shopping list
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 1 cup drained crushed pineapple shopping list
- Frosting: shopping list
- 1 package lemon frosting mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup dairy sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter softened shopping list
- 2 tablespoons water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 then grease and flour a rectangular pan.
- Drain pineapple syrup into large bowl and save pineapple for filling.
- Blend in remaining cake ingredients until moistened then beat as directed on package.
- Pour half the batter into prepared pan.
- In small bowl combine first 6 filling ingredients until smooth then add pineapple.
- Spoon filling over batter in pan then cover with remaining batter then bake 50 minutes.
- Cool in pan 5 minutes then invert onto serving tray and cool.
- In small bowl combine frosting ingredients and beat as directed on frosting package.
- Frost cake.
