Hannahs Meatballs Recipe

Hannahs Meatballs Recipe
I made up this recipe and my family loves it. It is really good and it puts a different spin on meatballs. Hope you like it! I usually just throw the ingredients into the bowl as I want them, so I'm guessing at the measurements. If it needs an adjust... More

Ingredients
  • Lb. of Beef
  • 1 can cut tomatoes (garlic or italian seasoned tomatoes work as well)
  • 2 cups uncooked rolled oats
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tsp. finely cut garlic
  • 1 onion cut into 1-2 inch pieces
  • 5 tbs. butter

Directions
  1. Put onion pieces and garlic into a sauce pan with butter.
  2. Cook on medium heat until onion's are lightly brown.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Put beef into a large mixing bowl
  5. Add tomatoes, rolled oats, eggs and ketchup.
  6. Add now-cooled onions and garlic.
  7. Mix well with hands.
  8. Drop balls of meat of your desired size onto an ungreased cookie sheet and cook at 350 degrees until medium brown and insides are cooked well.
  9. (As a preference, you can put spagetti sauce on top of the meatballs and rub it onto them before you put them into the oven. It makes them taste more like tomatoes.)
  10. Serve with marinara sauce or spagetti sauce and noodles or just with themselves.
  11. Enjoy!
