  • IN A SAUCE PAN SAUTE ONION IN BUTTER UNTIL TENDER
  • STIR IN FLOUR SALT AND PEPPER
  • COOK AND STIR UNTIL SMOOTH AND BUBBLY
  • ADD BROTH AND MILK ALL AT ONCE
  • COOL AND STIR UNTIL MIXTURE BOILS AND THICKENS
  • ADD BROCCOLI
  • SIMMER, STIRRING CONTANTLY UNTIL HEATED THROUGH
  • REMOVE FROM THE HEAT
  • ADD CHEESE AND LET MELT THEN STIR TILL THROUGHY MIXED
  • SERVE HOT
