Bottle of Vodka

Leftover vanilla bean pods

Directions

After you've been cooking or baking with vanilla beans, you usually have the leftover pods or husks (you've scraped out the goo and seeds already to use).

Pop the leftover pods into the bottle of vodka. Doesn't really matter how many you use, it'll just intensify the flavour.

Feel free to add a few whenever you have them, they don't all have to go in at once.

Remove the beans when the vodka no longer covers the tops of the pods (almost time to get another bottle anyway!)

If pieces of pod break off or you find there is any silt, you may want to strain before using.

**Try as a highball with your favourite Rootbeer!
