How to make it

  • Roughly cut the cod into bit-sized pieces.
  • Place the pieces in a food processor with the fish sauce, chilies, garlic, lime, cilantro, egg and flour.
  • Process until finely chopped and turn out into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the green beans to the cod mixture and combine.
  • Divide the mixture into small balls. Flatten the balls between the palms of your hands to form rounds.
  • Heat a little oil in a preheated wok or non-stick skillet and fry until both sides of the cakes are brown and crispy.
