Balsamic Flank Steak Recipe
A intriguing, tangy flavorful way to prepare flank steak. Serve with mashed potatoes and a lively green salad for the perfect meal.

Ingredients
  • 1 c. Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic,mashed
  • 1 sm. onion
  • 1/2 tsp. each of salt and pepper
  • 1 1/4 lb. Flank Steak

Directions
  1. Combine vinegar, garlic,onion,salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add steak and turn every 30 min. to evenly coat.
  3. Marinate for 2 hours.
  4. Pre-heat broiler, with rack 6" from heat soirce.
  5. If steak is of uneven thickeness,tuck the thin end under.
  6. Broil the steak for 2 min.per side for rare,and 5 min per side for medium,and 8 per side for well done.
  7. Remove from broiler and let sit under a tent of foil for 5 min.
  8. Slice thinly agaist the grain.

Flank steak is always a welcome choice at our table...although I can't believe how expensive it has gotten recently. This will be another great way to prepare it. Thank you for sharing.
