How to make it

  • Combine vinegar, garlic,onion,salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Add steak and turn every 30 min. to evenly coat.
  • Marinate for 2 hours.
  • Pre-heat broiler, with rack 6" from heat soirce.
  • If steak is of uneven thickeness,tuck the thin end under.
  • Broil the steak for 2 min.per side for rare,and 5 min per side for medium,and 8 per side for well done.
  • Remove from broiler and let sit under a tent of foil for 5 min.
  • Slice thinly agaist the grain.

    Flank steak is always a welcome choice at our table...although I can't believe how expensive it has gotten recently. This will be another great way to prepare it. Thank you for sharing.
