How to make it

  • -slice onion into 1/4 inch thick slices (do not seperate rings
  • -pile slices on center of foil sheet
  • (Add garlic at this point is using minced garlic)
  • -add butter to top of pile
  • -add salt, pepper, (and garlic if using garlic powder)
  • -Close foil up into a pouch with fold on top for easy pick up with tongs.
  • -Cook of 40 minute on grill being careful not to move pouch too much (don"t want to let the pouch rupture prematurely)
  • -after cooking, open pouch and pour into bowl for serving.
