Pink and Pretty Cherry Cream

- 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin shopping list
- 1 cup cold water shopping list
- 2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- 1, 21 oz can cherry pie filling shopping list
- 1 pint cream for whipping shopping list
- 2 Tbs. Amaretto liquor shopping list
- 1/2 tsp almond extract shopping list
- 1 to 2 Tbs sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Soften gelatin in cold water in a saucepot.
- Then stir constantly over low heat to dissolve gelatin.
- Remove from heat.
- Add sugar, salt and lemon juice and stir well.
- Stir in cherry pie filling.
- Chill in refrigerator until mixture begins to thicken slightly.
- Whip cream with liquor, flavoring and sugar.
- Fold into cherry mixture.
- Pour into a 2 quart decorative mold of choice.
- Chill until completely firm before unmolding.
- Serves 10 to 12.
- Serve plain or add some fruit topping or sauce of choice.
