Strawberry Cheese Cake

- Crust shopping list
- 1 1/2 Cups graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 Cup sugar shopping list
- 5 Tblsp Melted butter shopping list
- Filling shopping list
- 2 Eight ounce pkgs cream cheese Softened shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Tsp Vanillia shopping list
- Topping shopping list
- 1 Cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Tsp vanilla shopping list
- Strawberry Top shopping list
- 4 Cups strawberries shopping list
- 1/3 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Tblsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1/4 Cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Pre heat Oven 375 F
- Crust
- Mix crumbs and sugar together
- add melted butter and mix with fork until crumbly
- pour into 9 inch spring form pan and lightly press crust evenly over bottom and 3/4 way up the sides.
- Filling
- In a mixing bowl combine cream cheese eggs and sugar beat on high until smooth and satiny stir in vanilla and pour into crust
- Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven let stand for 15 min.
- While waiting mix sour cream topping ingredients together and tun the oven up to 475. F pour topping evenly on cheesecake and return to oven for 10 more minutes. cool in pan until room temp than cover with foil and refrigerate for 10-12 hours Add strawberry topping
- Crush enough berries to make 1 cup (press through a seive for those who reallty don't like those small seeds) slice remaining strawberries in half to decorate top of cake. In a sause pan (over medium heat) mix sugar and cornstarch stir in water and crushed berries stiring constantly until bubles brak surface lower heat to simmer for three minutes stirring until sauce is thickened and clear.
- Cool slightly before pourring over top of cheese cake.
