QUICK EASY STIR FRY WITH RAMEN NOODLES

  • 1 POUND BONELESS BEEF SIRLOIN
  • 2 CUPS WATER
  • 1 PACKAGE OF ORIENTAL- FLAVOR RAMEN -NOODLES SOUP
  • 1 BAG ( 16 OUNCES) OF FROZEN / OR FRESH STIR FRY VEGETABLES
  • 1/4 CUP STIR -FRY SAUCE

Directions
  1. CUT BEEF INTO THIN STRIPS, SPRAY 12 INCH WOK OR NON STICK- SKILLET, WITH COOKING SPRAY; HEAT OVER MEDIUM -HIGH- HEAT.
  2. COOK BEEF IN SKILLET 3 TO 5 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY, UNTIL BROWN, REMOVE BEEF FROM SKILLET.
  3. HEAT WATER TO BOILING IN SKILLET, BREAK BLOCKS OF RAMEN NOODLES FROM SOUP MIX INTO THE WATER----RESERVE SEASONING PKG ...STIR UNTIL SLIGHTLY SOFTENED STIR IN VEGETABLES, HEAT TO BOILING. BOIL 5 TO 7 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY, UNITL VEGETABLES ARE CRISP-TENDERS .
  4. STIR IN CONTENTS OF SEASONING PKG FROM SOUP MIX, AND STIR-FRY SAUCE AND BEEF, COOK 2 TO 3 MINUTES, STIRRING FREQUENTLY UNTIL HOT.
  5. SERVES 4

Alterations


I don't know what a "package of fresh vegetables" means, unless it's those pre-made salads. I'd go with either frozen or individual fresh ones, sliced.

Also, since I like my ramen "al dente", I'd cook the VEGGIES first, then add the ramen for no more than 5 minutes at the end.

Still, sounds like an easy, tasty recipe!
