How to make it

  • -Put the ground beef in a large bowl for mixing (with your hands).
  • -Add the white rice.
  • -Add the soy sauce
  • -Peel and de-seed the lychee fruit. Crush and mince. Add to the beef mixture. (if you absolutely can't find lychee fruit, you can use 4-5 seedless green grapes as a substitute.
  • -Mix all of the ingredients together and form into patties.
  • -Cook on the grill / foreman / frying pan until desired doneness.
  • This can be served with the "normal" ketchup and mustard condiments or to keep with the asian theme it's also good with: sweet & sour sauce, chili & garlic sauce, teriyaki sauce, wasabi, red hunan sauce, szechuan sauce, thai peanut sauce.... or just about any other asian sauce you can think of. Just experiment!

    Tried it and...LIKED IT VERY MUCH...I used half ground beef and half ground chicken..Left out the fruit, But served green grapes on the side along with baby carrots and snow peas...Went over very well with everyone..Thanks
