Chocolate Caramel Squares Recipe

Ingredients
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped peanuts
  • 14 ounces caramels
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream

Directions
  1. Combine 6 ounces milk chocolate chips, 1/4 cup butterscotch chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter.
  2. Melt over low heat then pour into rectangular baking dish and refrigerate until set.
  3. In another pan melt butter then add sugar and bring to a boil stirring for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add milk, marshmallows, 1/4 cup peanut butter, vanilla and peanuts.
  5. Stir well then spread over first layer.
  6. Combine caramels and whipping cream over low heat until melted.
  7. Spread over second layer and let set.
  8. Melt remaining chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter over low heat.
  9. Spread over third layer then place in refrigerator until cool.
